NEW CABBIE

A passenger asked the taxi driver to take her to a local mall in Cebu City.

While the driver was polite, he reminded the passenger that he’s new to the city and would appreciate it if she could give directions to him.

The passenger had no choice but to tell him where to go, canceling calls just to give him directions.

SANCTIONS FOR HABAL-HABAL

If habal-habal (motorcycle-for-hire) is not being regulated, then how would the city deal with drivers and their passengers if they end up in an accident?

Last Monday, there were four passengers riding a habal-habal to Nivel Hills in Cebu City.

Three of these passengers were children while the fourth is an elderly woman. All of them had no helmets.

ILL MANNERS

A construction worker bought his lunch in one of the market stalls in Cebu City.

While choosing what food to buy, he kept on coughing without covering his mouth, to the disgust of the other customers who fear he may be spreading whatever bacteria he has in his lungs.

The worker ignored the dagger looks of the customers and let out one hearty cough before choosing his meal.
