TALISAY City continued to run roughshod over the rest of the field in the Samsam Gullas Cup as it blew away Naga City, 102-59, on Friday at the Enan Chiong Activity Center in Naga City.

The victory was Talisay’s eighth in a row, a feat made possible by the efforts of Jommelito Dacua, who scored 25 points and added three rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block.

In other matches, San Fernando and Minglanilla also came away victorious to remain tied at 6-2 (win-loss).

Minglanilla beat Carcar City, 92-84, behind the all-around brilliance of Steven Silva, who had 22 points, five boards, eight assists and six steals.

San Fernando downed Sibonga, 71-63, as Roy Guzon submitted a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds. Carcar fell to 2-6 while Sibonga remained without a win in eight tries this season.
