TEAMS representing 10 different companies will vie for basketball glory as the URBAN Basketball League ASPA Cup 2016 Inter-Company Category kicks off tomorrow at the City Sports Club Cebu basketball courts.
Fresh off the heels of the successful staging of the URBAN Basketball League-Island Premium Paints Squad Cup 2016, the Aspa Cup is expected to hit the ground running with VSMMC, Colt 45, Focus Autocentral and Fluor showing off their skills in a bid to become the champions of this competition.
They will also have to contend with MDC Solinea, DPWH, Teletech, Stayfit Box Cebu and the office of Vice Mayor Labella.
In line with the said tournament is also the launching of the Cebu Weekend Basketball Club which kicks off today at 12 noon at the same venue.
A total of 156 players divided into 12 teams are competing in this tournament that is being organized by former University of San Carlos and Southwestern University guard Jabby Bautista.
