Bogo City Police Station confiscated six sachets of shabu and 2 fragmentation hand grenades in one of the lockers of a police officer now assigned in Bohol Province.

In an interview with Cebu Daily News, Sen. Insp. Irish Dilem said that upon the order of their new police chief Supt. Byron Alatog, they conducted a surprise inspection in the barracks inside the police station.

They then discovered the 30 grams of shabu which has a Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) value of P354,000 and the two fragmentation grenades inside the locker of PO1 Moises Cunanan.

“Upon verification (the two fragmentation grenades), dili na evidence nga naconfiscate sa atong police station. Wala na siyay record nga ebidensiya to. Dapat naa siya sa proper office for storage or disposal. That alone, it’s already a question nganong naa sa iyahang locker,” Dilem said.

Cunanan used to be assigned in Bogo City but was relieved sometime in August this year and transferred to Bohol Province.

Dilem said that even if Cunanan is already in Bohol, the latter kept coming back to his locker at the Bogo police station.
