A TECHNOLOGY company is trying to get a share of Cebu’s consumer and small business sectors as it expands in Cebu with its first HP Concept Store here.

“HP makes products from all sections of market but the store in Cebu focuses on consumers and small and medium businesses; but we have products offered to our technology partners,” said HP Philippines Managing Director PV Viswanath during the launching of the HP Concept Store at SM City Cebu’s Cyberzone on Friday.

The store is the second concept store of HP which launched the first one at SM North Edsa in July last year.

“We give a lot of importance to Cebu. We find that the users in Cebu are technology-savvy and they also demand the latest products so it makes a lot of sense for us to open a store Cebu,” Viswanath said.

Viswanath said that the concept store will serve as a one-stop shop for HP needs and accessories such as laptop bags, speakers, printing supplies and inks.

Released during the opening ceremonies were their brand new products specifically the HP Spectre, the Omen by HP and the HP All-in-One 3600 printer series which are available in selected HP markets.

When asked about the future of the company, Viswanath said with confidence that they will be in the cutting edge of technology as they look to continue to innovate their products aiming for a better customer experience.

“Innovation is actually in our blood in HP. Our company started in 1939. Innovation is really part of our DNA. We usually do not speculate in the future but what I can say is that we will be really there in the cutting edge of the technology,” Viswanath added.
