Cebu beach spikers to vie in Iloilo tournament

REIGNING Cesafi women’s beach volleyball champions Southwestern University (SWU) Lady Cobras and runners-up University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Lady Jaguars compete against the brightest beach spikers in the Iloilo Paraw Regatta National Women’s beach volleyball tournament today at the JOE III Garden in Iloilo City.

The formidable SWU duo of Therese Rae Ramas and Floremel Rodriguez and the USJ-R tandem of Linlyn Torado and Jessa Jorquia will be squaring up against the likes of former Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) stars Bea Tan and Angeline Gervacio of Beach Volleyball Republic (BVR) 1 and the pair of Cha Soriano and Amanda Villanueva of BVR 2.

Other competitors in the three-day contest are Iloilo City’s Jackie Estoquia and Dhamae Demontaño, Central Philippine University’s Claudine Troncoso and Mika Yu and Foundation University’s Jasslyn Genconcillo and Charmaigne Jayme.
