THE ABELLANA National School (ANS) and the Salazar Colleges of Science Institute and Technology (SCSIT) booked slots in the Girls Under-18 championship round after they thumped their respective opponents in the semifinals of the Cebu Youth Basketball League (CYBL) Summer League 2017 last weekend at the Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts along Mango Avenue.
ANS got off to fast 13-2 start and defeated Compre Basketball, 42-29. Darliene Ragasajo guided ANS to the finals with her 13 points.
In the other semis match, SCSIT eked past Grassroots Basketball, 40-35.
Mary Jean Pascual and Kathleen Agustin scored 15 and 10, respectively, to lead SCSIT.
Meanwhile, the Under-15 Division 2 Finals saw One on One beat the University of Southern Philippines Foundation, 52-48. Richard Limboy was the man for One on One with 12 points.
