63-year old man, 5 ‘drug users’ arrested in Danao City
A 63-year old man and five others were arrested over possession of illegal drugs during drug busts in Barangay Looc, Danao City Monday evening.
The Drug Enforcement Team of Danao City, led by PCInsp. Arnold Labini, conducted the operation at El Cantorin St. in Barangay Looc at 8 P.M.
According to PCInsp. Labini, the subjects of the drug bust were 27-year old Marita Camargo and her cohort, Niel Granada, 23. Camargo and Granada ran and evaded arrest.
However, Labini’s team passed by a house in the same barangay and caught six people on a pot session.
Virgilio Aroma, 63; Danica Gomez, 19; Marialyn Camansi ,24; Kenneth Joel Labador, 37; Ronnel Toledo, 22; and Darryl Montalban, 22, were arrested.
Recovered from their possessions were 25 small sachets of suspected illegal drugs and paraphernalia worth P14,000.
The suspects are now detained at Danao City jail pending the filing of charges against them.
