PHARMAPRO leaned on an incredible fourth period to take down DaxNavs in the semifinals, 85-73, and barge into the final round of the Cebu United Ballers Association (CUBA) tournament last weekend at the Capitol Parish gym.
Down by as much as 14 points in the fourth, Pharmapro came alive with a sizzling 30-7 run to stun DaxNavs, which had owned a twice-to-beat bonus in the semis.
Former University of San Carlos Warriors stud Mark Panerio scored 25 points to help put Pharmapro in the finals opposite Tsibug 501. That winner-take-all match will be played this Saturday at the same venue.
DaxNavs will play Team Enteng for third.
Enrico Llanto led DaxNavs with 20 points while James Ty added 16.
