JP Marikina nips Global Cebu, 5-2

GLOBAL Cebu FC suffered its most humiliating defeat in the Philippines Football League (PFL), losing to JP Voltes Marikina FC, 2-5, yesterday in Metro Manila.

It was the third defeat for Global Cebu FC, but it still remains at second place with 28 points.

Meralco Manila Sparks holds the top spot with 33 points. JP Voltes is at fifth place with 22 points.

Scoring for JP Voltes were Takumi Uesato (2nd, 13th, 18th, 35th) and Takashi Odawara (34th).

Global Cebu FC avoided a shutout after Rufo Sanchez scored in the 63rd minute and Dennis Villanueva added another one in the 82nd minute.
