A native of Cameroon in Central Africa was arrested by police for supposedly paying fake Euro bills to a store owner in barangay Basdiot, Moalboal Monday.
Cesaio Indino accused Gidson Kelvin Obama of paying him fake Euro bills. The suspect was arrested in the neighboring town of Barili and he was found using a passport with a different name.
Chief Insp. Jose Rovic Villarin of the Moalboal police said charges of swindling wil be filed against Obama who is detained in their precinct.
