CONTRABAND IN JAIL
Netizens were left scratching their heads on why contraband including drugs are still found inside the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) despite security checks.
Donnel Demetillo said, “Is this a joke? A flat screen TV is too big to be ignored at the facility’s entrance.”
Alan Schmidt said, “How in the world can a TV get inside a jail? They need to search every employee coming in and out of the jail to avoid problems like this.”
Orunmila Oba Elegba said, “Incompetent and corrupt detention employees should be fired. We need honest jail guards.”
Juan Fuji commented, “This is a never-ending problem Will this ever be solved?”
Adonis Sanchez said, “This won’t stop. I’ve even heard inmates can actually use mobile phones for texting and have access to social media.”
