Cebuanos will get a chance to run as their favorite DC superheroes anew when the Justice League Run comes to the Queen City of the South on Nov. 19.

The footrace, held in line with the upcoming showing of the Justice League movie on Nov. 16, will have its staging area at the SM City Cebu car park.

The distances offered are three kilometers, 5k and 10k.

The organizers, Global Procurement Inc. (GPI) headed by marketing director Maritess Fragante, said during the launching yesterday at the Shakey’s Pizza in F. Cabahug Street that this running event is different from their 2015 edition also held in Cebu City.

“It is different from the DC Justice League Run we had here in Cebu in 2015 since we will be using the designs of the costumes from the movie for our singlet. So it’s going to be more exciting and more fun,” said Fragante.

The designs for this year’s singlets will be based on the characters of the Justice League movie. These are Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Cyborg, Flash and Wonder Woman.

Each singlet will have its own accessory depending on which superhero a participant chooses.

Finishers will also be given a finishers dogtag designed by Silverworks.

Registration is ongoing at Chris Sports in SM City Cebu and at the Silverworks in Ayala Center Cebu.

Registration fee is pegged at P800 for the 3k, P1,100 for the 5k and P1,300 for the 10k.
