P200K shabu seized from families in Cebu City

ABOUT P200,000 worth of shabu were confiscated by operatives of the regional Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-7) in two separate buy-bust operations in Cebu City today.

31 packs of shabu weighing 20 grams and worth P100,000 were seized by PDEA agents from a couple, their daughter and three other persons at Sitio Maharlika, Barangay Sambag II in Cebu City, at 5:20 am Thursday.

The suspects were identified as George Tapayan, his wife Maria Cristina Tapayan, their daughter Jackilyn Tapayan, Reyner Tapayan, Dave Gabato and McLeomer Abapo.

At Sitio Dita, Barangay Pulang Bato in Cebu City, PDEA agents arrested three men and seized from their possession four packs of shabu worth P100,000.

The suspects were identified as Kharlo Centino, his brother Ian Centino and his nephew John Rick Centino.

Suspects are now detained at PDEA-7 stockade, pending the filling of charges against them.
