JUDY Ann Santos opens 2018 with a bang by returning to the big screen via Star Cinema’s “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes.”
Sharing top billing with her is Angelica Panganiban who was recently named Best Actress at the 65th Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS).
Santos was last seen on the big screen in the 2016 film, “Kusina,”an entry to the 12th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.
“Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” is directed by Jun Robles Lana.
It will be shown in theaters nationwide starting on January 17, 2018.
Three days ago, Star Cinema’s YouTube Channel released the film’s official teaser and introduced its other stars, like Joross Gamboa, JC De Vera, and Gladys Reyes.
The teaser begins by asking married women, “Mga misis, kilala niyo ba talaga ang mister nyo?”
The film is about two wives (Santos and Panganiban) who find out that their husbands (Gamboa and De Vera) are cheating on them.
They get all the more surprised when they find out that their husbands are not straight guys.
The trailer also gives tips to married women on how to know if their husbands are cheating, citing signs like “Biglang nanawala and nauubusan ng gana.”
When the trailer was released, Lana uploaded on his Instagram account the movie’s official poster.
