Staff and doctors of medical tourism facility Maayo Medical proudly showed off to its associates its newest medical unit during a launching event last February 24.
Maayo Medical’s Endoscopy unit currently offers Consultation, Upper GI Transoral, Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, and Polypectomy services.
The facility will soon be adding other services such as GI Transnasal Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Foreign Body Extraction, Rental Imprint for Schistosoma Screening, Endoscopic Band Ligation of Varices, Sclerotherapy, Hemoclip Injection, PEG Tube Replacement, and Argon Plasma Coagulation.
“The unit will be fully operational with all its services this March 2018,” said Maayo Medical’s internal medicine doctor Karen Signe-Batoctoy in an interview.
Dr. Batoctoy highlighted the quality, high-tech equipment, and facilities that are available in the unit including the Fujifilm 700 series cameras which they use in their procedures to have “high-quality, clear” endoscopic images.
Dr. Batoctoy also highlighted the “competitive, affordable” prices of their services which range from P1,200 to P4,800.
