THE STORY of Dingdong Dantes and Anne Curtis-Heussaff’s upcoming film centers on a man suffering from insomnia.

The first teaser of “Sid and Aya: Not a Love Story” was officially uploaded by Viva Entertainment on YouTube last Monday.

Dantes plays the role of Sid, who is seen talking about how he suffers from from insomnia.

“Gabi gabi akong hindi makatulog. Sanay na ako,” Dantes said.

He also mentioned the causes of insomnia like regret, self blame, overthinking, anger, depression, loneliness, and hurt.

Then came Curtis-Huessaff (Aya), whose first line in the teaser is “I love you.”

Based on the teaser’s description, Sid will meet Aya in one of his lonely nights.

“Who is she, really? And how will she change Sid’s life?” the video description reads.

“Sid and Aya: Not a Love Story” is the first big screen team-up of Dantes and Curtis-Heussaff. The film was partly shot in Tokyo, Japan.

They worked together in T.G.I.S (Thank God It’s Sabado), a youth-oriented series on GMA Network in the 1990s.

Written and directed by Irene Villamor, “Sid and Ayala: Not a Love Story” produced by Viva Films and N2 Productions.

Villamor on her Instagram account invited her followers to watch the teaser on YouTube.
