At least 27 units of light and heavy equipment will be turned over to different districts and municipalities in Cebu City.

The P227 million worth of equipment will be used to speed-up road improvements and for quicker clearing operations in times fo disasters.

Meanwhile, Cebu Provincial Governor Hilario Davide III will continue to support Mega Cebu development projects even if Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña has decided not to take part in the organization.

Davide said Osmeña’s decision should be respected.

The province, he said, will continue coordination with the city. / with  PIT Intern Glazelle Bless Viter
