An Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) spotted in Mindanao that is affecting Central and Western Visayas is expected to bring cloudy skies and scattered rain showers in Cebu in the next three days.
Al Quiblat, Mactan chief of the state weather bureau Pagasa, said a low-pressure area (LPA) last spotted 495 km east of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte, is affecting Eastern Visayas.
Quiblat said the LPA has a 50 percent chance of intensifying into a storm which will be named Doming.
