Two separate vehicular accidents in the northbound lane of the Cebu South Coastal Road (CSCR) caused heavy traffic this morning (Jun 11).

Francisco Ouano, chief of Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO), told Cebu Daily News in a phone interview that there were no reported injuries during the accidents.

He added that the first accident happened around 8:00 a.m. today wherein an automobile crashed onto a ten-wheeler dump truck in the northbound CSCR tunnel

An hour later, three more vehicles also collided on the same lane of the tunnel.

“We’re still investigating as to the cause of the incident. We’re also identifying what cars were involved in the 9 a.m. collision,” said Ouano. / CNU Intern Laksmi Cañedo
