LTO to release new car license plates on Monday
THE Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas (LTO-7) will already start on Monday the distribution of at least 2, 500 new car license plates.
Distribution will be simultaneous with other LTO offices in other parts of the country.
But LTO-7 Director Victor Emmanuel Caindec said that only those who applied for car registration from July to October 2016 will receive the new license plates.
“There is a second batch on the way. We will be consistently releasing all the way through the end of the year,” he said.
Caindic said car owners may claim their license plates from their respective car dealers.
“We discussed with the dealers so the process becomes more orderly. We will release it through them,” he said.
