Crane operator shot dead in Talisay

A crane operator was shot dead by unidentified motorcycle riding assailants at Sitio Tigiub in Barangay Lagtang, Talisay City, Cebu at past 2 p.m. Sunday, July 1.
Supt. Marlu Conag, Talisay City police chief, identified the 33-year-old victim as Fredirico Baynas Rasola, a resident of Barangay Jaclupan, Talisay City.
Rasola was with his common-law partner to buy goods at the public market and headed home when the ambush occurred.
The motive of the attack is being investigated, Conag said.
