G-CONCEPT’S Jeson Guardo, the organizer of the upcoming Cebu City Midnight Marathon, said in a press conference last Saturday that they are expecting 2,000 runners to join the event slated March 2.
He said they have already drawn around a thousand runners but they are still accepting runners who want to enlist in either the 42-kilometer, 21k or 5k division.
“Daghan pa ang interested runners so we are looking at 1,500 to 2,000 runners on race day,” Guardo said during the press conference at the Sunburst in Paseo Arcenas. He was joined by
Cebu City councilor Ritchie Osmeña, race director Joel Juarez, sports patron Jonathan “Atan” Guardo and Allan Borces Delantar.
Registration is still going on at RUNNR Ayala Center Cebu and at the Cebu City Sports Center.
