Cebu City Jail requires male visitors to strip naked
Male visitors of the Cebu City Jail will now be asked to strip naked before they will be allowed entry into the jail facility.
Jail Warden Supt. Renante Rubio said they had to require male visitors to strip naked to deter the possible entry of contraband into the city jail.
On Tuesday, jail personnel turned over to the Guadalupe police a man who hid 20 ampules of nubain placed inside a contraceptive which he inserted on his behind, as he was about to visit a jail detainee.
Jail guards noticed that the man was acting suspicious, the reason why they subjected him to body frisking.
Last month, jail guards also arrested three women for trying to sneak small packs of shabu and nubain which they inserted on their private parts, into the city jail.
