CEBU Gov. Hilario Davide III said yesterday that he won’t deliver a State of the Province Address (SOPA) in this year’s 449th founding anniversary of the Cebu provincial government.

“Dili man na i anunsyo sa SOPA tanan (It is not necessary to announce all achievements in SOPA),” Davide said in a press conference.

Last year, Davide delivered a “report to the people” during the closing day of the monthlong celebration.

He said his administration’s greatest accomplishment is the land swap deal signed between Cebu province and Cebu City last Friday. The deal consisted of a deed of donation that confirmed the exchange of lots under the Provincial Ordinance 93-1.

Davide also announced during yesterday’s Capitol anniversary celebration that he will give a P15,000 bonus to 1,500 regular and casual employees of the Capitol.
