LONG-LASTING battery life and premium looks is what Nokia brings to its Cebuano market, and nationwide.
Shannon Mead, country head of HMD Global Philippines introduces two new Nokia budget phones, the Nokia 2.1 and Nokia 3.1, which is set to be released on August 29 this year.
“We want our market to have that ‘first android phone’ experience,” said Mead.
The Nokia 2.1, with a retail price of P5,990, although only armed with a 1 GB RAM, compensates with its dual stereo system and its two-day battery life, which Nokia is expected of.
Meanwhile, Nokia 3.1 offers premium features and design at P9,990, with a 2/3 GB RAM and a 13 megapixels rear camera.
Both phones have capabilities to run up to date android apps, and is also entitled to a three-year monthly security patch update. This means that the phone’s security and software is updated every month.
As for emergency cases such as snatching, Mead advised that the user may contact the local telecom immediately so the phone can be deactivated, rendering it useless at the very least.
Mead is also encouraging users to use the security features of the phones, such as facial recognition and pin lock, to avoid data breach.
HDM Global, the exclusive distributor of Nokia phones, has brought over 10 Nokia smartphones in the country.
These will be on sale starting August 29, 2018, at any Nokia store nationwide.
Consumers can also pre-order up until August 26 or avail of their six month installment period. /USJ-R Intern Zena V. Magto
