1 dead, another injured in road collision
A motorcycle backrider died while the driver was injured when their bike collided with a passenger bus in Barangay Caduawan, Tabogon town, northern Cebu on Thursday morning (Aug. 30).
The fatality was identified as Arden Arnado, 47, while his wounded companion was identified as Arnuco Jaime Munez. Both are residents of Barangay Campusong in Tabogon.
PO1 Dan Bernard Navarro of the Tabogon Police Station, said the collision took place on a blind curve.
Navarro identified the driver of the passenger bus as Carlito Diaz, 64, a resident of V. Rama Ave., Barangay Calamba, Cebu City.
Diaz is currently detained at the Tabogon Police Station pending the filing of charges against him.
