GERLY Cotimar credits Binibining Cebu a tough competition that has made her true to herself.
Cotimar is the official candidate of Pilar, one of the four towns of Camotes Island in northern Cebu.
A fifth income class municipality with a population of 11,306, Pilar is known for its white sand beaches and blue seawaters.
”You can enjoy swimming, cliff diving and scuba diving in Pilar,” she said.
Another attractioin in the town is the Pilar Municipal Marine Park.
In 2009, Pilar was recognized as the Most Outstanding Marine Protected Area in the Philippines by the MPA Support Network.
