3 dead, 11 injured in Argao vehicle collision

Three dead, 11 injured when a speeding van carrying 13 people crashed into a 10-wheeler dump truck in the national highway in Talaga, Argao.
PO2 Renato Nacaytuna of Argao Police Office said the van was running at high speed on slippery winding road in sitio Baybay in barangay Talaga when it hit the truck which was headed to Cebu City.
Guillerma Belendras, 25 years old and Rosalinda Laurente, 42 years old died on the spot.
Diether Belendras, 10 years old died when he arrived at the Argao District Hospital. The 11 others injured were brought to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical center.
Nacaytuna said it was raining hard when the accident happened around 7a.m.
