THE EAGLES bagged home the championship title of the Elite Basketball Club – Toledo Season 4 after a wire-to-wire 92-81 win over the Pelicans in game 2 of their best-of-three finals series last Friday at the CEDC Multipurpose Gym in Toledo City, Cebu.
Jess Anthony Pinca was unstoppable from the field as he unleashed 26 points to finish as the game’s top performer and the league’s Finals and Season MVP.
In Game 1 of their finals series, the Eagles also won, 78-74.
Jordan Alicaway and Geof Caballero added 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the champions.
Walter Sayson topscored for the Pelicans with 26 points and two rebounds while Fabian Villarin added 23 markers.
