UV routs Holy Trinity, to face Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias next in PCCL

THE three-time defending champions University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers took a step closer to bagging the Visayas-Mindanao Regional Championship as they crushed the Holy Trinity College Wildcats, 114-73, in the 2018 PCCL National Collegiate Championship Presidents Cup on Tuesday at the Almendras Gym in Davao City.

Next up for the Green Lancers will be the Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias, today at 4 p.m. at the Arcadia Active Lifestyle Center.

A win in that match will put UV opposite the Luzon-NCR Regional champion, the Naga College Foundation Tigers, in a best-of-three series.

The winner of that showdown will advance to the one-game finals against the winner of the match between NCAA champions San Beda and the yet-to-be-determined UAAP titlist.
