Police seize P1M shabu in Cebu City

CEBU CITY, Philippines – A 50-year-old former car-for-hire driver was arrested in possession of about P1 million worth of suspected shabu pre-dawn today.

The suspect was nabbed inside a pension house along F. Llamas Street, Barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City shortly before 1 a. m. today.

Chief Inspector Randy Caballes, precinct commander of the Mambaling Police Station who led the operation, identified the suspect as Arniel Adorable, of Sitio Labangon 3, Barangay Labangon, Cebu City.

Seized from Adorable were 157 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1 million based on the Dangerous Drugs Board valuation.

Caballes said they learned of Adorable’s illegal activities operated from inside a pension house from an informant.
