AWARD-winning director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo will direct an upcoming movie starring Viva stars Cristine Reyes and Xian Lim.
Bernardo reposted a video from Viva Artist Agency on her Instagram story last Thursday.
“Soon … new project,” the caption reads.
The acclaimed director is known for her movie “Kita Kita,” which was declared the top-grossing indie movie of 2017. The romantic comedy was topbilled by Alessanda de Rossi and Empoy Marquez.
Bernardo also directed “Mr. & Mrs. Cruz” which starred JC Santos and Ryza Cenon.
Viva Artist Agency made several posts on its Instagram of the meeting.
One photo, captioned “Coming soon,” showed Lim, Reyes and Bernardo with Viva big boss Vic del Rosario.
Another photo of Reyes and Lim was uploaded by Viva Artists Agency on Instagram with the caption, “Soon.”
The third photo shared by the management was of Reyes and del Rosario.

This is the first time Lim and Reyes are paired in a movie.
Reyes’ last movie was “Seven Sundays” (2018) with Aga Muhlach, Ronaldo Valdez, Dingdong Dantes, and Enrique Gil. Lim was last seen in “Miss Granny” which also starred Sarah Geronimo and James Reid.
