CEBU CITY, Philippines – Rosel Cosep, 40, used to rely on the money that her seaman husband would send to support her needs and that of their two children.

When her husband died, Cosep started to sell illegal drugs to earn easy money to support the college education of her children.

But her illegal activity was detected by the police.

Chief Insp. Chuck Barandog, chief of the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), said they arrested Cosep in her residence in Barangay Ermita at around 8 p.m. today (December 17) after she sold suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer.

Barandog said they confiscated 53 grams of shabu worth P360, 000 from Cosep’s possession.

Cosep, who is now under police custody, remained mum when asked about her arrest.
