8 fall in Talisay ‘drug den’ raid

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI-7) arrested two alleged notorious drug pushers and six others in a drug den raid in Talisay City.

NBI-7 Director Antonio Pagatpat showed packs of crystalline powder believed to be of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to the media after their buy bust operation in a drug den at the back of Tabunok Public Market, Monday at around 1 p.m. Among those arrested were 45-year old Jason Narido and 40-year old Nilo Arendan who were allegedly drug pushers.

The owner of the ‘den’, Marian Bas, 55 years old was also arrested along with five others who were caught in the act of using illegal drugs.

All eight of them were detained at the National Bureau of Investigation Office awaiting for the filing of the case.
