Architects + Engineers Basketball Club Corporate Cup 2019 fires off Saturday
Cebu City, Philippines — Architects and engineers alike take to the court for some basketball action on Saturday, March 30, 2019, as the Architects + Engineers Basketball Club Corporate Cup 2019 kicks off at the University of San Carlos gym.
Eight teams will battle for hardcourt supremacy in this league that takes teams composed of engineers and architects and pits them against each other in competitive games meant to forge camaraderie in their related fields of expertise.
Teams playing are AVC, Buildrite, Thinking Tools, Toyota Mabolo, Davies Paints, Dormakaba, Island Premium Paints and Phoenix Building Systems Corporation.
Expected to dominate is the team composed of players from the Datu Lapu-Lapu chapter, which is carrying the banner of Dormakaba.
The tournament was launched at the Toyota Mabolo facility in an event that was attended by sponsors, players and organizing officials alike led by organization president, Architect Jun Villacorta. /bmjo
