CVIRAA elementary booters bag gold in Palaro

Cebu City, Philippines—The Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) elementary football team just clinched the gold medal of the elementary football competition of the ongoing Palarong Pambansa in Davao City.

The team edged Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA), 2-1, Friday, May 3, 2019.

The team is manned by players from the Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC) with pick-ups from Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC), Paref Springdale, Looc Elementary School in Lapu-Lapu and St. Paul of Dumaguete.

SHS-AdC’s James Louiel Comon scored the first goal while DBTC’s Renzo Angelo Enriquez sealed the win for Central Visayas.

Other members of the team from DBTC are Rhyss Christopher Abao, Lord Daniel Alovera, Rayne Asher Amora, John Lexter Conde, Czar Robert Daanoy, Kurt Justine Barro, Iehron Ezekiele Lao, Allister Louis Manlosa, Mark Anthony Talingting Jr., and Fernando Jayme Pasco; Jared Willy Almendras and Marco Anton Quiblatin of SHS-AdC; Evgene Christian Molleno and Ethan Jacob Roxas of Paref Sprindale; David lance Ybañez of Looc and Kenneth Bilocura of Dumaguete.   

The team’s head coach is Glenn Ramos, assisted by ray Calo. /bmjo
