UPDATED: A fire destroyed three houses and damaged four others in sitio Lahing-Lahing, barangay Mabolo, Cebu City at past 5 p.m. today.
Fire fighters received the alarm at 5:20 p.m. and was under control 15 minutes later. Damages are pegged at P70,000.
A bank along Corner F Ramos, Mango Avenue sent a fire alarm to the Cebu City Fire Station at 6:03 pm.
It was soon learned that only an air conditioning unit caught fire and it was put out by the bank’s personnel using a fire extinguisher. The bank continued with its operations.
