NBI seeks immigration to see if Archival’s murder suspects fled country

March 24,2014 - 03:50 PM

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI-7) are looking into the records of the Bureau of Immigration to determine if members of the Highway Patrol Group in Central Visayas linked to the murder of lawyer Noel Archival have fled the country.

NBI-7 Regional Director Max Salvador said the suspects can fly out anytime because they weren’t issued a hold departure order yet.

He said they received reports that Supt. Insp. Joselito Lerion, SPO4 Edwin Galan and Senior Insp. Eduardo Mara are still in Cebu. But the four were not issued arrest warrants as of this time./Reporter Ador Vincent S. Mayol
