Four persons, including a policeman and a military officer, were found guilty by a Cebu City court for threatening farmers in a state-owned forest reserve in barangay Tabunan.

The accused, who worked under retired Police General Tuburcio Fusilero, were meted the penalty of imprisonment after they were accused by the farmers of slaughtering their cows and firing guns indiscriminately.

There has been a land dispute in the reforested area which is supervised by Tiburcio Fusilero, a retired police official who has made forest conservation his retirement activity.
