Sinulog Fluvial Procession Viewing at Mandani Bay

Sinulog is the grandest festival in Cebu and for years, a lot of people, locals and tourists alike, visit the province to enjoy the festival centered with religion and faith.

Mandani Bay, known as a developing lifestyle destination, has made it an annual tradition to open their serene boardwalk to all devotees and guests to provide the best view of the galleon for one of the most anticipated events in Sinulog – the Fluvial Procession.

At the break of dawn, this well-known event drove thousands of people to come early at the venue, with their images of Sto. Niño in hand. They were all welcomed at Mandani as they wait for the vessel of the Child Jesus to pass by the waterfront township development in Mandaue City.

To add a more festive Sinulog vibe to this solemn activity, Mandani Bay featured a cultural show that staged local Cebu talents to entertain their guests. Their performances coupled with a grand fireworks display that lit up the night sky made the festivalgoers experience the exciting and cultural delight of the Fiesta Senyor.

As the vessel of the Holy Child makes its way to the front of the boardwalk, colors of red and yellow filled the venue as people waved their flags and miraculous images of Sto. Niño in unison. People sang Bato Balani sa Gugma or Magnet of Love in chorus and for those who saw this ceremonious activity for the first time, they must have felt a dignified immersion in the Sinulog festivities.
