Isuzu D-Max 4×4 boasts off-road prowess
The 2014 Isuzu D-Max 4×4 was tested to its limits last weekend in a manmade off-road course at a lot along Ouano Avenue corner W.O. Seno Street in barangay Mantuyong, Mandaue City, just across the Cebu International Convention Center.
The off-road driving challenge, which was free of charge, was meant to show off the D-Max’s 4-wheel-drive capability, its power, traction, limited slip differential and the suspension system’s articulation over varying surfaces, heights and angles.
Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) started this kind of event in 2008 in three locations, followed by another in 2010 staged in four locations. This year, the demonstration of off-road driving skills will be held in five venues.
Prior to the Cebu leg, the event was held in Pampanga. The series will next move to Bacolod City on May 23 to 25, before going to Cagayan de Oro City on June 6 to 8. It will culminate in Lanang, Davao City on June 20 to 22.
