Pagasa: Hot, humid Friday with isolated rain showers nationwide

MANILA, Philippines — Expect warm weather nationwide on Friday, March 19, 2021, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.

The state weather bureau said hot weather due to the easterlies will prevail  in the afternoon, although isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are also expected.

Pagasa said maximum temperature may reach up to 32 degrees Celsius in Puerto Princesa City, Cebu, Iloilo, Tacloban, and Cagayan de Oro, up to 33 degrees Celsius in Metro Manila, Tuguegarao, Laoag, and Legazpi and up to 35 degrees in Zamboanga and Davao.

Pagasa said no low pressure area (LPA) or any weather disturbance is being monitored within the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).
