Gaisano Capital remained undefeated as it destroyed the San Jose Bakeshop, 73-46, in Division A action in the 2014 Avenir Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Cup basketball tournament last Thursday night at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts along Mango Avenue.

Edmund Gaisano waxed hot from the field in the game and scored a whopping 47 points to lead Gaisano Capital to its third straight win.

The game was close in the first period, which ended with Gaisano Capital ahead by just six, 13-7. But Gaisano got his groove going and started to string up point after point in an incredible shooting display.

When the dust settled, Gaisano Capital piled up 32 points while holding down San Jose Bakeshop to just 13 to establish a 45-20 halftime lead.

San Jose Bakeshop fell to its second straight defeat.

Completing the day of routs were the RDAK Stallions, who blasted Beaver Sandals, 58-40.

Former Magis Eagles standout Jair Igna scored 16 points for the winners and helped them to their second straight win.

In Division B action, the RDAK Transporters crushed Chick@Phil89, 54-39, while Charleson Sia. Belo Men 98 got past White Gold 96, 37-28.
