Pa held for molesting 3 sons, 2 daughters
A 47-year-old man in Cebu City was arrested for allegedly molesting his five sons and daughters.
His 21-year-old daughter reported her ordeal last Wednesday to the Fuente police station. She was accompanied by her mother and 7-year-old sister.
The sexual abuse happened when she was younger, said the elder daughter, but was never reported because the father vowed to kill them if word got out.
She said she finally found the courage to expose him after finding out, to her disgust, that her younger siblings were also victims. She said their father had touched the private parts of her three brothers aged 9, 10, and 14.
The molestation would take place when the father was drunk and their mother was away. The mother and children have since moved to their aunt’s house.
In the detention cell, the father denied the allegations. “I wouldn’t do that to my children,” he said in Cebuano. However, the 7-year-old girl was examined in the Pink Room of the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, where there were indications she was indeed molested.
