Toledo woodpushers look to sustain winning form
CEBU CITY, Philippines—Cebu-based teams Toledo City Trojans and Cebu City Wizards continue their campaign in the All-Filipino Conference of the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
The Trojans eye a repeat to their two big wins last Saturday, February 26 by taking on the Caloocan Loadmanna Knights in the first match and the second best team in the northern division, the San Juan Predators, in their second outing.
Meanwhile, the Cebu City Wizards will try to free themselves from a logjam at 10th place in the southern division standings by facing the formidable former PCAP champions Laguna Heroes in the first match. They proceed with a match against Isabela Knights of Alexander in the second match.

They climbed from sixth to fifth place in the standings after their double victories last Saturday, dislodging Surigao Fianchetto Checkmates from fifth spot.
