Intent on solidifying the country’s economic stature, Worldbex Services International (WSI), the country’s biggest events and expositions organizer is always on the look out to discover various opportunities to strengthen and expand the trade sector of the country. This season, WSI sets its sight on Cebu as it displays an impressive growth in multiple sectors, most especially, its construction and building industry. Striking while the iron is hot, WSI presents PHILBEX Cebu 2014, happening alongside CEFBEX, and Cebu Auto Show on October 9 to 12, from 10am to 8pm at the SM City Cebu Trade Hall.
As one of the sectors that has suffered the hardest blow in the past year, the region’s construction industry has proven its resilience as it exhibits an unprecedented recovery and impressive growth. Aiming to highlight the very fabric of the region’s construction industry, what makes it inherently unique and strongly bounded, the 11th PHILBEX Cebu will turn the spotlight on the region’s world-class products and services that are resilient and at the same time embedded with cultural identity, teeming with creativity, and fueled by innovation.
Converting the open grounds of SM City Cebu Trade Hall into fully airconditioned tents, the 11th PHILBEX Cebu will be occupying a total of 2,000sqm to house all 90 companies and 150 booths which will be offering a complete array of materials, equipment, and services for the building and construction trade.
Visitors can expect an abundant product profile including building materials, interior design and renovation, security and fire equipment, mechanical and electrical engineering, information technology and telecommunications, architectural services, government/private institutions, associations, interior designer’s services, construction promotion, and more. All of these partnerships were made possible with the support of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (Cebu Chapter).
Given the remarkable scale of this year’s trade event, visitors are expected to double since last year’s staggering 40,000 attendees – establishing PHILBEX Cebu, CEFBEX, and Cebu Auto Show to be the biggest trade event to happen in the region.
