CIS to hold workshop open to all teachers

Cebu International School (CIS) together with East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) will hold a weekend workshop titled, “Planning and Reflecting for Effective Instruction to Enhance Student Learning” this coming October 18 and 19. The workshop will aim to teach its participants how to understand and apply internationally recognized principles such as practicing on-going assessment and reflection for effective planning, developing participants’ stategies that support differentiation, inquiry, IT integration and collaboration to enhance classroom instruction and student learning in teaching.

Gracing the two-day workshop who will share her expertise in enhancing the classroom setting is Lyn Thompson, an experienced educator who has been in the field of education for the most part in her career. Thompson will share her knowledge and experience in curriculum development and instructional practices and how these knowledge can work best with the teachers’ roles and responsibility in making learning worthwile for students.
