This season, Worldbex Services International, the country’s biggest events and expositions organizer drives into Cebu, the Queen City of the South, for a round of some serious economic stimulation by way of unfolding the region’s vast and colorful trade sector.
Manifested by the rapid development in SMEs and the construction sector, the region’s automotive industry has been experiencing substantial growth. Serving as a vehicle to further drive up the economic activity, WSI presents the 8th Cebu Auto Show, which will be happening simultaneously alongside PHILBEX Cebu and CEFBEX on October 9 to 12, from 10am to 8pm, at the SM City Cebu’s Trade Hall and North Wing Grounds. In proper timing, the 8th CAS is poised to be the biggest gathering of brand new, classic, custom cars, and everything in between as it joins the two other expositions in a new and improved venue.
With nearly 100 exhibitors and over 60 car displays, this year’s CAS will occupy 3000 sqm of exhibition area for the brightest and flashiest display of the region’s auto industry.
As the industry displays a consistent growth particularly in the commercial vehicle segment, CAS made sure to feature popular brands which will be conducting demos and motor clinics such as the likes of the California Eco Bike, Ford, Hyundai, Isuzu, Mazda, Meguiars, and new additions such as Mini and Volkswagen – all of which make for a truly dynamic auto trade show experience.
In a statement by Michelle Silvano of Los Cabos International, she says, “ The Cebu Auto Show will be the first participation of Los Cabos Internatonal in the region and it is going to be exciting!We will be showcasing Eco-Bikes, an alternative way of transportation, environment friendly, cost efficient, and a lot more.”
On the chosen venue of this year’s CAS, she remarks, “This is also a great opportunity to introduce Eco-Bikes to all the Cebuanos, especially that it will now be held at SM City Cebu, which is ideal for an exhibit like this because of its popularity and accessibility.”
Setting its show apart from other run of the mill trade shows, CAS prides in engaging its attendees through its many insightful pocket events and activities. Anticipated year after year by auto enthusiasts are the car competitions that take place at CAS such as the Custom and Classic Car Competition.
