The Minglanilla police already identified a suspect in the murder of PO3 Omar Parages in sitio Lower Linao, barangay Lipata in Minglanilla town last Saturday.
“We’re considering personal motive in the case. He has previous robbery and murder charges but wasn’t issued a warrant and he’s from Talisay City,” Senior Insp. Richard Gadingan said.
Gadingan said Parages was in the area that afternoon to meet a friend when he was shot by the suspect with two other cohorts. Parages was with his seven-year-old son when he was shot in the head.
His bag which contained P1,500 cash, one .45 pistol and some ID cards and documents were reportedly stolen.
